The ClosBlanc di Blanc Alberto farm is located in the municipality of Jovençan, 5 km from Aosta and is located at an altitude of about 600 meters. The vineyards are divided between the municipalities of Jovençan and Aymavilles. About 30.000 bottles are currently produced. The company was founded in 2009 with a production of about 11.000 bottles (previously the grapes were given to other producers). The company has a large parking area (which can also be used for coaches) and inside there is a tasting room where the customer can taste the wines. An overnight stay service is also contemplated for those wishing to stay on site. The company produces both red and white wines (among the reds, some are indigenous). Among the autochthonous (red) wines (the strains were born in Valle d'Aosta and are not found in any other area) Vda Cornalin dop, Vda Fumin dop and Vda Petit Rouge dop are produced. Among the reds, Vda Merlot dop and Vda Pinot noir dop are also grown (these are non-native qualities). The climate, the soil and the altitude give these wines a color, a flavor and a characteristic odor which is different from that produced in the flat areas). Among the white wines we work the Vda Muller Thurgau dop and the Vda Chardonnay Dop. In 2011 the owner of the company decided to vinify part of the Chardonnay production as a late harvest (this process is carried out every other year).
