The wines are processed in a natural way starting from the vineyard. The fermentations of the wines are spontaneous, deriving from the yeasts present in the grape skins. The wines are not filtered, they are simply decanted. Each wine from Les Granges is certified organic and Demeter (biodynamic certification).

Our company takes its name from the village of the same name located on the hill of Nus, at the adrèt, the sunny side of the Aosta Valley. Our family tries to be mostly self-sufficient, traditionally growing grapes, cereals and vegetables between the villages of Les Granges and Lignan, in the Saint-Barthélemy valley. We are all-round farmers, and it is precisely in such a broad scenario that each of us finds his own freedom of expression, taking care of the tasks that best suit him. As is typical in Valle d'Aosta, our plots are small, of which three hectares are planted with vineyards and one with mixed agriculture… The right size to take care of, love and get to know the characteristics of each land. We cultivate in full respect of nature, ours is manual and natural agriculture. In accordance with our feelings, since 2012 we have been practicing biodynamics, which with the preparations aims to keep plants healthy, solely by developing the fertility of the soil.

La Valle d'Aosta it is a region famous for its quality wine, especially for its own Red Wines which are considered by many to be one great Italian excellence. The cultivation of the Aosta Valley vines was already taking place in medieval times, the wines were exported to Valaisin Savoy and beyond Alps.
